Karen Millen
In title, I led copy on all digital channels. In reality, my role was much broader, spanning management of our in-house photography studio and direction of its visual output for our PDPs and editorials; authorship of the editorial calendar in collaboration with the Marketing, Merchandising and Design teams; as well as all print and store assets.
I also reworked briefing documents and our approach to deadlines and signoffs to streamline the creative process, and project-managed Karen Millen’s first interactive Christmas campaign, teaming up with designers and developers.
My team of two copywriters, studio manager, stylist, and intern represented the different hats I had to wear: editor, art director, mentor, as well as writer.
